Water Falls - Kwa, Gurara and Agbokim

Niagara falls next. Amen? Amen!
Hi everyone.

For someone who doesn't like water, I have been to quite a number of water falls. Okay, just three but that's a lot for someone like me. So, I've concluded that it is not that I do not like water. I just do not like to be in water.
I've found that falls are quite calming. Maybe it's the soft sound the water makes as it cascades over the hills.
My first waterfall experience, Kwa falls, located in Akamkpa Local Government Area of Cross River State is my best till date. It was so soothing, I didn't want to leave. Sitting there, away from the noise and away from the world was so perfect.

As a child, I had been there a couple or so times on school excursions but they never really let us near the water. This time, we were able to climb the rocks through the water. It was both exhilarating and scary knowing that just one misstep could send you falling all the way down. But, climb, we did!

Style Inspiration - Work Wear

Hey all!
How are you doing? Great? Great!

I have always wanted to do a work style inspiration post. One time, I had drawn up a schedule and paired the outfits, got my friend to take the pictures only for every single thing to go wrong that day. I am not exaggerating.
First of all, my room mate lost her phone while we were packing up to head to the shoot. We should probably have taken that as a sign to discontinue but we forged on. I had initially planned to shoot this as part of my Christmas look book last year but I never got around to it. I did wear it to church on Christmas day however. I had to slay for Jes…

Happy New Year || Life Lessons From 2017

Hi everyone!

Happy 2018. I know it's already the 10th but in my defense, this year has been quite slow to kick off. I honestly feel like I'm still in 2017.
Maybe it's because nothing really has changed. The harmattan is still trying to kill me or make my nose bigger than it already is, Nigeria is still you know, "Nigeriaing" and I'm still as skinny as the letter I.

However, we're in 2018 and I'm glad to have seen the last of 2017. It wasn't a bad year in all entirety but it was a pretty tough one.
Top of my resolutions as shared herewas to make a conscious effort to take things easy, be less anxious, worry less, complain less and just breathe. I did try! This year, we try again.
I definitely did not "fall for any of the following: alcoholics, workaholics, commitment phobics, people with girlfriends or wives, misogynists, megalomaniacs, chauvinists, emotional fuckwits or perverts and freeloaders" Thank you Bridget Jones!

I eased into the…
